All suspects, and persons charged with a crime, are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Persons of interest are believed to have information relating to a case, and have not been charged unless stated otherwise.

 

Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance Identifying Subject in Credit Card Theft/Fraud Investigations

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance identifying a suspect who was involved in two separate incidents in January 2023 where she utilized a stolen credit/debit card to purchase thousands of dollars worth of items from the Best Buy located at 2034 Skibo Road.

Detectives have obtained still images of the suspect from the two incidents. She is described as follows:

  • possibly Hispanic female
  • heavy set
  • long black hair
  • on both occasions, the female was carrying a red/burgundy women’s wallet
